School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist – Flexible Schedule Caseload Specialist (2026/2027 School Year)
A small, supportive school district in the Burney, CA area is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities:
Provide evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
Provide direct therapy services for a caseload of approximately 15–20 students (Pre-K through 12th grade)
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support student goals
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
Experience:
School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Experience working with mixed K–12 caseloads is a plus
CFY candidates encouraged to apply
Education:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active California Speech Language Pathologist License required
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (2026/2027 School Year)
Work Hours: School hours are 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM (elementary dismissal earlier); hours may be flexible within the school schedule
