This full-time or part-time, onsite contract position is based in the Golden Valley, MN area and offers a collaborative work environment with a flexible caseload tailored to your skills and interests.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing, implementing, and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Keeping accurate records of assessments, progress, and documentation as required by district and state guidelines
- Engaging in regular communication with parents and caregivers to track student progress and set goals
- Staying current with best practices and continuing education as needed
Qualifications you’ll bring to this role:
- U.S. Work Authorization is a requirement
- Active State of Minnesota SLP License
- Either a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or status as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued, but energetic new graduates are encouraged to apply
