Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Burnsville, Minnesota

In this role, you’ll assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse caseload with speech or language disorders. You’ll deliver direct therapy, consult with teachers and parents to support student progress, and ensure goals are met through ongoing monitoring and collaboration.

Candidates should bring expertise in speech-language therapy within pediatric and educational environments, including experience with teletherapy models. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available for the 2024-2025 school year, offering flexibility to fit your needs.

Qualifications:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology (CCC)
• Active or pending Minnesota SLP license
• Minimum of two years’ prior school-based experience
• Proficiency with technology, including computer, webcam, and virtual platforms
• Successful completion of a technical screening and internet speed test
• Professional liability insurance (minimum 500K/500K annual coverage)

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Providing virtual direct therapy services to students
• Collaborating with educators, staff, and families
• Tracking student growth and adjusting interventions as needed
• Documenting sessions and progress in accordance with school requirements
