Step into an engaging opportunity supporting students from early childhood through high school within a collaborative, dynamic educational setting. This contract-based role provides a vital impact, as you’ll offer skilled speech-language pathology services across a range of grade levels. Starting August 2024 and continuing through the end of March 2026, you will work alongside an experienced team, rotating between elementary (K-5) and high school (9-12) caseloads as needed, enriching your experience by working with diverse student populations.
Your week will be structured with a 40-hour schedule, giving you ample time to plan, provide, and reflect on your services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility.
- State licensure from Minnesota or ability to obtain prior to start.
- School-based SLP experience preferred; strong CF candidates considered.
- Skilled in assessments, IEP development, goal tracking, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to rotating caseloads are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy for students from ECSE through 12th grade.
- Rotate caseloads to cover absences among a team of SLPs, ensuring continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the creation and monitoring of IEPs.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success.
- Support classroom strategies and deliver both direct and indirect speech services as needed.
