Exciting opportunities are available for two experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to provide services in a dynamic school-based setting near Burnsville, MN. These contract roles are perfect for SLPs who are passionate about making a tangible difference across a variety of school sites, working closely with students, educators, and families over the school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota State License as a Speech Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Professional Educator License Level 2, 3, or 4
- Demonstrated experience supporting school-aged children with diverse speech/language needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to travel between school sites as an itinerant specialist
- Flexibility and organization to manage a full-time, 37.5 hour per week schedule throughout the academic year
- Commitment to on-site services (remote or virtual not available for this assignment)
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for speech and language disorders in school settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Support and consult with teachers and families regarding student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school, district, and state requirements
- Adapt interventions and strategies to address the unique needs of each student
- Travel between designated schools as part of an itinerant assignment
