This contract position is dedicated to serving as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at two middle schools. As the lead SLP, you’ll collaborate with educational teams and oversee a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who will assist in direct service delivery.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid State SLP license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and mentor SLPAs
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, diagnostics, and interventions to middle school students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Supervise and guide the SLPA to ensure high-quality delivery of services
  • Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, participate in meetings, and maintain student records
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for holistic student support
  • Remain up to date with best practices and continue professional development in speech-language pathology
