School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Burnsville, Minnesota

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and developmental needs as a School Speech-Language Pathologist for the full 2026-2027 school year. This position offers full-time hours and the chance to make a significant impact at one school site, serving either the Richfield or Burnsville community.

Ideal candidates possess a strong foundation in speech-language pathology, hold (or are eligible for) their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are ready to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and bring a student-centered approach to their practice. You’ll collaborate with fellow educators, families, and support staff to foster meaningful progress and inclusion for all learners.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current or impending state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Minnesota
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and case management skills
• Commitment to evidence-based and culturally responsive practices

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Complete assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with district and state standards
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success in academic settings
• Participate in IEP meetings, data reviews, and professional development opportunities
