Work two half days each week, offering expert support to a manageable caseload of 8-10 students. With a collaborative team and a consistent schedule, you’ll be able to focus on delivering high-quality therapy and contributing to students’ academic and social success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Minnesota SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatrics highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to tailor interventions for diverse needs within a school community
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students twice a week (8 hours total)
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
- Conduct assessments, write progress reports, and maintain documentation in compliance with regulations
- Consult with educational teams to adapt classroom strategies and materials
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for collaborative planning
