School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Burnsville, Minnesota

Work two half days each week, offering expert support to a manageable caseload of 8-10 students. With a collaborative team and a consistent schedule, you’ll be able to focus on delivering high-quality therapy and contributing to students’ academic and social success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible Minnesota SLP licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatrics highly valued
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to tailor interventions for diverse needs within a school community

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students twice a week (8 hours total)
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
• Conduct assessments, write progress reports, and maintain documentation in compliance with regulations
• Consult with educational teams to adapt classroom strategies and materials
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for collaborative planning
