In this assignment, you will work across two middle schools, stepping into a role that includes providing expertise and guidance as you oversee an SLPA. Your CCCs are essential, ensuring you play a pivotal role in student success and team leadership.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
  • State licensure for Minnesota, or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to oversee and collaborate with an SLPA

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver SLP services to middle school students, both directly and through oversight of the SLPA
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with faculty and parents
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and compliance with district standards
  • Advocate for student needs and track progress throughout the school year
