Desired Background & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active or eligible license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the appropriate state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or status as Clinical Fellow (CFY) considered
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Comfort supporting a caseload of students in grades 3–12, tailoring services to a range of needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, identify therapy needs, and monitor student progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, other specialists, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy sessions within the school schedule
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates
