Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to foster student success
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop individualized speech and language plans
- Maintain accurate records of services and progress notes
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences as needed
