In this dynamic setting, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to deliver tailored speech and language support across a diverse caseload.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Arkansas SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting strongly valued
- Familiarity with special education regulations and IEP processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and case management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Provide direct therapy using evidence-based strategies
- Offer consultation to teachers and support staff for classroom integration
- Document progress regularly and communicate findings with families
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborations
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
