Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cabot, AR

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Arkansas SLP licensure (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting strongly valued
• Familiarity with special education regulations and IEP processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and case management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
• Provide direct therapy using evidence-based strategies
• Offer consultation to teachers and support staff for classroom integration
• Document progress regularly and communicate findings with families
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborations
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
