What we’re looking for:
- ASHA Certification is required
- Valid Colorado SLP License
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
- Previous experience in elementary school settings or with school-aged children is preferred
- Open to both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop creative, individualized approaches for diverse learners
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver engaging direct and consultative services
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and educational staff
- Track and document student progress, maintaining detailed records
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing SLP services
