Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active or eligibility for SLP Assistant certification (SLPA)
  • Experience or exposure to pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP services
  • Familiarity with SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY environments is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with licensed SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Enthusiasm for supporting elementary-aged students in their communication goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by licensed Speech Language Pathologists
  • Work directly with elementary students to provide therapy services as outlined in IEPs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
  • Collaborate with school professionals to reinforce communication goals in the classroom
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
