Speech Language Pathologist in Calhoun, GA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student progress
• Document student performance, progress, and participation in meetings and conferences
• Provide guidance and resources to families and school team members regarding speech and language development
