A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to work within a K-12 educational setting in Calhoun, GA. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY), offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies and support academic success.
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience working in school settings with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to work independently within a contract-based role.
