Key Qualifications:

  • Hold current SLP certification (CCC or CFY welcomed) with pediatric and healthcare experience.
  • Experience or comfort working within schools and navigating the needs of students from early childhood through adolescence.
  • Capable of traveling between locations (for compensatory services position).
  • Experience managing scalable caseloads and providing tailored support across varying grade levels.
  • Competency with documentation platforms (such as Paddynet), data collection, evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility reviews.
  • Skilled in clear communication with families, colleagues, and administration through multiple channels, and adept at scheduling with Google Calendar.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver onsite speech and language services as assigned—either across several schools (compensatory) or at one elementary campus.
  • Manage caseloads with a focus on student growth and successful compensatory fulfillment (traveling SLP).
  • Document progress, conduct evaluations, and provide input for eligibility reviews and IEP meetings.
  • Foster robust relationships with students, families, and staff, supporting a collaborative and transparent special education environment.
  • For compensatory services, availability from June 1 through June 30 is essential to fulfill summer needs.
