Exciting opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists near Calhoun, GA! Two full-time positions are available for the upcoming school year, running from August 2026 to May 2027. Work onsite in a collaborative school environment with a manageable caseload of up to 55 students, covering grades K-12. Assignments may vary between different school sites, providing diverse and rewarding experiences. Open to SLPs with their CCCs, Clinical Fellows (CFY), and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Qualifications and Desired Experience
For SLP-CCC:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Background working in a school setting
- Proficiency supporting students with a spectrum of disabilities
For SLPA:
- Bachelor’s in Speech Communication Disorders
- Valid SLPA certification (or application in progress)
- Experience in a school environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Conduct assessments and document student progress
- Provide consultative support and recommendations for classroom strategies
- Foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment
