School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Calhoun, Georgia

Exciting opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists near Calhoun, GA! Two full-time positions are available for the upcoming school year, running from August 2026 to May 2027. Work onsite in a collaborative school environment with a manageable caseload of up to 55 students, covering grades K-12. Assignments may vary between different school sites, providing diverse and rewarding experiences. Open to SLPs with their CCCs, Clinical Fellows (CFY), and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Qualifications and Desired Experience

For SLP-CCC:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure as an SLP
• Background working in a school setting
• Proficiency supporting students with a spectrum of disabilities

For SLPA:

• Bachelor’s in Speech Communication Disorders
• Valid SLPA certification (or application in progress)
• Experience in a school environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Conduct assessments and document student progress
• Provide consultative support and recommendations for classroom strategies
• Foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment
