Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to apply)
  • Previous experience in a school environment is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and time management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students across various grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting approaches as needed to meet diverse needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate communication goals within classroom routines
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Communicate regularly with families to support ongoing progress and address any concerns
