Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to best practices and evidence-based therapy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with identified language, speech, or communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ unique needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding communication strategies
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment interventions as necessary
