Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- State Speech-Language Pathology licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver speech-language therapy services for students with diverse communication needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school policies and federal regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Document and track student progress, providing clear feedback and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ strengths and goals
