This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), passionate about fostering growth in children and collaborating within an educational community.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to best practices and evidence-based therapy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with identified language, speech, or communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ unique needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding communication strategies
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment interventions as necessary
