Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans tailored to student needs
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support academic and social success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student education plans
  • Offer guidance and resources to parents and school staff regarding communication strategies
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in all aspects of intervention and assessment
