Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans tailored to student needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student education plans
- Offer guidance and resources to parents and school staff regarding communication strategies
- Utilize evidence-based practices in all aspects of intervention and assessment
