Step into a fulfilling role supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging school environment near California, MD. This 11-month contract position is dedicated to early intervention, making a positive impact on children’s communication skills from August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027. You’ll work full-time with a collaborative team committed to fostering growth and development in young students.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Maryland SLP license is essential
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior school-based SLP experience, especially with early intervention, is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with families, educators, and support staff
  • Passion for child-centered therapy and creative problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored speech and language therapies to an early intervention caseload
  • Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify communication needs and progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state standards
  • Serve as a resource for colleagues and caregivers, providing guidance and strategies for communication enhancement
