This contract position is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and possesses a current Maryland SLP license. The assignment includes working at both an elementary and a middle school, offering variety and the chance to make a meaningful impact across age groups.

The role starts as soon as possible and extends through late May 2027, providing long-term stability and the fulfillment that comes from supporting student growth.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid SLP license in Maryland
  • CCC-SLP credential
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology
  • Ability to manage a caseload across different grade levels (elementary and middle school)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational abilities for managing paperwork and IEP documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy interventions to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and timely reporting in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in professional development sessions as required
