Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Opportunity | Calumet City, IL

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting in Calumet City, IL for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time or part time opportunity working with a diverse K–8 caseload in a collaborative and supportive school environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Calumet City, IL
• Caseload: Approximately 45 students (K–8)
• Full-time school-based schedule (Monday–Friday; hours aligned with school day)
• W2 contract position through a staffing agency

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to K–8 students per IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and updates
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (and/or PEL as required)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
