A school district near Benicia, CA is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students during the 2023-24 school year. This role offers the opportunity to work with middle and high school caseloads in a collaborative educational environment. The position is contract-based, five days per week, and includes guaranteed hours for direct and indirect services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech language therapy services to middle and high school students
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and document student progress
  • Provide both direct and indirect therapy services

Qualifications:

  • Active or pending state SLP license required
  • Experience in schools and familiarity with IEP processes preferred but not mandatory
  • Skills in pediatric and school-based speech therapy advantageous
  • Proficiency or willingness to engage in teletherapy services is a plus
  • Candidates with certifications such as CCC-SLP or SLPA healthcare experience are encouraged to apply
