Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for practice within the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates considered
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but dedicated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with students, educators, and families
- Proficiency in individualized education plan (IEP) development and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to support diverse learner profiles
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to help students achieve IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and families to integrate speech and language strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to intervention plans as needed
- Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary teams to foster whole-child success
