Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly in educational settings
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Familiarity with IEP process and relevant documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based therapy plans for diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP planning
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state standards
  • Provide coaching and education to families and staff on best practices for communication support
  • Adapt techniques and materials to meet individual student goals
