Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience working in school environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborative mindset and passion for supporting student success
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs), setting achievable goals and tracking progress
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to integrate speech services within the classroom environment
- Provide direct therapy, conduct group sessions, and offer strategies for generalization across settings
- Foster positive relationships with students and their families to encourage participation and growth
- Maintain thorough documentation and reports in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
