Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license/certification (CFY and CCC accepted)
  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings
  • Proficiency with AAC devices is required
  • Teletherapy and in-person therapy experience are valuable assets
  • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary educational team
  • SLPA experience in healthcare or school settings is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Incorporate AAC devices and technology into therapy and student support
  • Maintain detailed records and data on student progress
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and additional professionals to optimize student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Adapt strategies to meet each child’s unique needs, fostering both academic and personal growth
