Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cambridge, MA

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll work with an elementary caseload, bringing your expertise in communication disorders to make a direct impact on students’ lives. This full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday for 6.5 hours each day, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing critical support in a vibrant school environment.

Required skills and experience include:

• Valid SLP credentials (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA)
• Prior experience in school-based and pediatric SLP settings
• Proficiency working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
• Comfort connecting with students via teletherapy as well as on site
• Dedication to child-centered, collaborative intervention
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Background in supporting diverse communication needs

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Integrate AAC devices and technology to maximize student participation
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions
• Document student progress and contribute to IEP meetings
• Engage in ongoing professional development to improve practices
