Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving pre-K students in a supportive educational environment near Cambridge, MA. This full-time, in-person contract position begins at 7:50 am each day, with 35 hours per week dedicated to impactful work. You’ll be instrumental in the communication development of young learners, tailoring support to their individual needs.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Previous SLP experience in schools or early childhood settings preferred
  • Familiarity with the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment or enthusiasm to learn
  • Strong observation, documentation, and collaborative skills
  • Passion for supporting diverse learning needs in early childhood

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 5-6 pre-K evaluations each week using the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment tool, serving primarily in an observer SLP capacity
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 10 pre-K students, working with both morning and afternoon classes
  • Design and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies for student success
  • Maintain thorough and timely records of progress and assessments
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional growth
