11th Grade 8th Grade Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cambridge, MA

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services for K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting near Cambridge, MA! As a valued SLP, you will make a meaningful difference during the 2026-2027 school year by supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract role comes at a vital time, as the current SLP retires and there is a strong need for in-person services for a range of grade levels and caseloads.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility
• Previous experience working with K-12 populations preferred (1st–12th grade)
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with diverse educators and families
• Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy in a school environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students on your assigned caseload (estimated 50-60, case assignments vary based on placement)
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the learning styles and cultural needs of students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Utilize both individual and group therapy to address speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic skills

Schedule and Placement:

• Elementary: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Middle: 7:45 am – 4:00 pm
• High: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Openings available in all school levels for placements tailored to your strengths
