Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain before start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Experience working with students in grades K-12
- Skill in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and implementing therapy sessions
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct therapy and track student progress, adjusting approaches as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input and recommendations
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Maintain organized and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student engagement and growth
