K-5 Grades 9 - 12 School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Cambridge, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Experience working with diverse student populations in grades K-12, with skills in adapting support for varying developmental stages
• Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent communication skills for partnership with teachers, parents, and related service providers
• Familiarity with IEP process and special education documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech-language assessments for students across grades K-12
• Design and deliver targeted therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
• Develop and track progress on Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies in the classroom
• Maintain clear records, write comprehensive reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Educate students and families on strategies to support ongoing communication development
