Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs will be considered.
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations welcomed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Organizational skills and adaptability to changing caseloads and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individualized education programs (IEPs) and specific student goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school professionals to develop and implement strategies supporting diverse learners.
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations for communication disorders and participate in eligibility determinations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reporting, and compliance with school-based requirements.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to ensure understanding of student needs, progress, and recommended follow-up.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and success.
