Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs will be considered.
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations welcomed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
- Organizational skills and adaptability to changing caseloads and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individualized education programs (IEPs) and specific student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school professionals to develop and implement strategies supporting diverse learners.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations for communication disorders and participate in eligibility determinations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reporting, and compliance with school-based requirements.
- Engage with parents and caregivers to ensure understanding of student needs, progress, and recommended follow-up.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and success.
