School Speech Language Pathologist - Cambridge, Maryland

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current, valid SLP license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
• Experience in school-based settings highly desirable
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for students
• Develop and deliver effective intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to monitor progress and adjust goals as needed
• Maintain timely documentation for assessments, progress reports, and IEPs
• Participate in school-based meetings and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide consultative support and education to classroom teachers and staff
