Step into a rewarding opportunity working with a diverse group of young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. In this role, you'll impact lives in a supportive educational setting near Cambridge, OH, with a focus on preschool-aged children and a small number of school-age students. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through May 28th, offering a structured, full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Your primary responsibility will be managing a caseload of approximately 30 students, delivering exceptional speech and language services. Whether you bring the experience of CCC certification or are seeking your Clinical Fellowship Year, your expertise and compassion will help shape communication skills for the children you serve.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcome
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to evidence-based therapeutic intervention and individualized education plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student support
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Engage in regular communication with staff and families to ensure cohesive care
- Support a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth
