A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting in Camden, SC. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy to support student communication development from kindergarten through twelfth grade during the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across various developmental stages.
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations as well as school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in healthcare or educational environments.
- Eligibility or active status as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate or completed CFY.
- Familiarity with the unique needs of school-age children and adolescents.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
