Make a difference supporting K-8th grade students with their communication needs in a rewarding contract position! Provide vital speech-language services to a manageable caseload of up to 15 students, focusing on speech-only interventions with minimal behavior challenges and the occasional evaluation. With highly flexible scheduling available for 1-2 days per week, you’ll have the autonomy to design a workweek that fits your life while delivering specialized care to a diverse school community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Pediatric experience in a school or healthcare setting preferred
  • Familiarity with speech sound disorders, articulation, and fluency
  • Teletherapy experience a plus and welcomed
  • Compassionate approach to working with K-8th grade students, including those with autism spectrum disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with teachers and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct speech therapy (articulation, fluency) for up to 15 K-8th students (primarily speech-only cases)
  • Assess and conduct initial or re-evaluations for 1-2 students as needed
  • Develop and monitor individualized plans, set clear therapy goals, and document progress
  • Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Provide teletherapy support as appropriate—leveraging technology for effective intervention
