Apply NowEmpower students to reach their potential by joining a dedicated educational team serving individuals from kindergarten through age 22. This full-time, contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week supporting diverse learners, including those with moderate to severe disabilities. You’ll provide invaluable speech-language therapy, focusing not only on articulation and language development, but also on augmentative communication, assistive technology, and feeding and oral-motor needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering evidence-based speech-language therapy to students across a wide age and ability range
- Addressing areas such as assistive technology, augmentative/alternative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding issues, and both receptive and expressive language development
- Performing thorough diagnostic and evaluative assessments for a comprehensive view of student needs
- Creating clear, insightful reports based on observations and assessment findings
- Working comfortably with students experiencing moderate to severe disabilities
- Developing, updating, and maintaining IEP objectives that reflect student progress and needs
- Collaborating and communicating actively with families and fellow professionals to support student growth
Qualifications and desired experience:
- SLP-CCC or CFY credentials
- Eligible for Delaware State licensure
- Experience supporting students with moderate to severe needs preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated flexibility and commitment to a collaborative, student-centered environment
