Step into an impactful role serving students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity is available on site, working full time Monday through Friday, with a focus on delivering direct speech therapy, conducting evaluations, and supporting critical IEP processes.

Candidates must possess active Delaware licensure/certification (SLP - CCC strongly preferred) and demonstrate previous school-based experience. This role is designed for professionals energized by collaborative work environments, looking to make a measurable difference in the academic and communication outcomes of students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware SLP licensure/certification (CCC preferred)
  • School-based SLP experience highly valued
  • Proficient in conducting speech/language evaluations and writing IEPs
  • Comfortable with progress monitoring and documenting therapy outcomes
  • Familiarity with Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP systems is a plus
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • SLPA applications will not be considered at this time

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to assigned students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations in alignment with school policies
  • Develop and write IEPs, participating in meetings as needed
  • Document session notes and track progress toward goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families
