This full-time, on-site contract opportunity focuses on delivering quality speech therapy services for the upcoming school year. Working closely with students and staff, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting educational outcomes and enhancing student success.

Ideal candidates bring current Delaware licensure and a passion for school-based practice. You will be responsible for providing therapy, supporting the evaluation process, developing and writing IEPs, and ensuring ongoing data-driven progress. Familiarity with programs such as Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP is valued.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware SLP licensure/certification (required—please confirm with your application)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in school settings as an SLP
  • Proficiency in speech-language evaluations and IEP documentation
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators and families
  • Reliable transportation to campus each day
  • SLPAs are not being considered for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy and intervention to students
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations and determine student needs
  • Write, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Attend meetings with educators and parents to discuss student progress
  • Track data and document session notes for ongoing progress monitoring

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with caseload and grade level assignments to be determined. You’ll be supported by a collaborative educational team in a welcoming environment.
