This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) serves students from kindergarten up to age 22—including those with moderate to severe disabilities. Here, you’ll help students reach milestones in communication, self-expression, and social interaction alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and both receptive and expressive language challenges
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing, using results to guide individualized intervention plans
- Prepare thorough, insightful assessment reports and document student progress
- Develop and manage IEP objectives in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Engage regularly with parents, sharing developmental updates and suggesting supports
- Work closely with students from diverse backgrounds, including those with autism and significant disabilities
What You Bring:
- Eligible for or currently hold a Delaware state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or experience as an Autism Specialist welcomed
- Experience supporting students with moderate to severe needs preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
