Make a difference every day by supporting students' communication needs in a welcoming elementary school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists with SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY qualifications who are passionate about working with children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 11, 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 39 hours per week.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a valid SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential
  • Experience with pediatric populations and/or school settings (K-5) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with both individual and group therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Skill in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
  • Strong organizational and collaborative abilities to coordinate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Flexibility and adaptability for working in a dynamic educational environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload of around 45 students
  • Assess and diagnose a variety of communication disorders
  • Design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to students’ individual needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and comply with district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with faculty and families to support student progress
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding communication development and strategies
