Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Preferred background and experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid or eligible North Carolina SLP licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcome
• Expertise in pediatric and school-based caseloads
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to tailor individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet diverse student needs
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling

Responsibilities in this role include:

• Providing diagnostic assessments and evidence-based therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team and participating in IEP meetings
• Supporting teachers and staff with strategies for language and communication in the classroom
• Documenting progress and maintaining rigorous records in line with school and district policies
• Engaging with families to foster student growth and advocate for communication supports
