School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP licensure, with eligibility to work in a school setting
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
• Previous experience with PreK-5th grade populations is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and offer engaging interventions tailored to student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate to develop and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance and meaningful progress for your caseload
• Deliver individual and small group therapy to help students realize communication and academic milestones
• Coordinate with parents, educators, and specialists to maximize each child’s achievements
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on student outcomes
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language services
