Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a full-time contract position in a dynamic school environment. Two roles are open, both offering hands-on, in-person experience supporting students across Washington and Greene Counties.
Role Details:
- One position based at Washington Park Elementary, overseeing a caseload of 50 students.
- Another position involves multiple sites, including Bethlehem-Center Elementary, Fort Cherry Elementary (Wednesdays), and Waynesburg Campus (two days weekly).
- Both positions require attendance at training sessions held from August 13th to 14th (with an additional day for the traveling SLP role on August 17th) from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- The contract follows the school calendar, starting when students return in late August and concluding on June 3rd. Regular hours are 7:30 AM to 3 PM.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate.
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to commute comfortably to all assigned locations in Washington and Greene Counties.
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy and intervention planning for students as specified in IEPs.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and document student progress.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff.
- Manage assigned caseload in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Travel between sites as assigned, maintaining reliable and timely attendance.
