Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting K-5 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming fall season. This full-time assignment spans from September 14, 2026, through approximately November 20, 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact during a vital period of student development.
Your responsibilities will focus on providing targeted speech and language services to a caseload of about 55 elementary school students. You’ll conduct speech evaluations, develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with educators and families to enhance communication outcomes. All services are delivered onsite Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification in SLP for schools
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads, specifically K-5, preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, speech/language assessment, and progress reporting
- Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with students, staff, and families
- Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to a collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 55 K-5 students requiring speech-language intervention
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Write, implement, and update IEPs as needed
- Track student progress and maintain compliance with all documentation requirements
- Support classroom staff and educate families on strategies to maximize student communication skills
