Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time | 2026-2027 School Year

Make a lasting impact with young learners as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers a collaborative school environment serving early elementary students with a variety of communication needs, including speech-language impairment, autism spectrum disorder, articulation, and AAC support.

Position Overview

  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Schedule: Part-Time, 14-21 hours per week
  • School Year: August 26, 2026 – June 11, 2027
  • Grade Levels: Pre-K through 2nd Grade

Caseload

  • Primarily students with Speech-Language Impairments (SLI) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Some articulation-only students
  • 4 students utilize AAC devices
  • AAC training and support are provided through an outside contractor
  • An SLPA assists with many direct service hours
  • Additional responsibilities may include evaluations for new referrals

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide therapy services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support students in achieving meaningful communication goals

Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • School-based experience is preferred but not required

Compensation

  • $40-$50 per hour, based on experience
