Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time | 2026-2027 School Year
Make a lasting impact with young learners as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers a collaborative school environment serving early elementary students with a variety of communication needs, including speech-language impairment, autism spectrum disorder, articulation, and AAC support.
Position Overview
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Employment Type: Contract
- Schedule: Part-Time, 14-21 hours per week
- School Year: August 26, 2026 – June 11, 2027
- Grade Levels: Pre-K through 2nd Grade
Caseload
- Primarily students with Speech-Language Impairments (SLI) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Some articulation-only students
- 4 students utilize AAC devices
- AAC training and support are provided through an outside contractor
- An SLPA assists with many direct service hours
- Additional responsibilities may include evaluations for new referrals
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Support students in achieving meaningful communication goals
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School-based experience is preferred but not required
Compensation
- $40-$50 per hour, based on experience
