A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to serve a diverse K-12 caseload for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning in August and concluding in late June. This on-site role is designed for a dedicated professional who is passionate about making a positive impact within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Michigan state SLP license must be current and in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Must be willing and able to work on campus; virtual service is not available for this position
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage and support a varied K-12 student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to students with identified speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress and support
- Provide consultation and training as needed to staff and caregivers
- Attend and contribute in meetings, document progress, and maintain detailed, compliant records
