School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Canton, Michigan

A school-based speech-language pathologist opportunity is available for the upcoming academic year. This contract assignment runs from August 2026 through June 25, 2027, servicing students in grades K-12. Located near Canton, MI, this full-time position offers the chance to make a lasting impact while working directly on-site with a diverse caseload.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current, valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and assessment protocols
• Must be comfortable working full-time, onsite (virtual options are not available)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to K-12 students with a range of communication needs
• Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to school and state standards
