Speech Language Pathologist in Canton, MI

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Michigan SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with K-12 students across a range of communication needs
• Must be available to work onsite; virtual-only candidates will not be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language interventions into the classroom
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal, state, and district regulations
