Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Michigan SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with K-12 students across a range of communication needs
- Must be available to work onsite; virtual-only candidates will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language interventions into the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal, state, and district regulations
