Embark on an impactful experience supporting students and schools as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Help K-12 learners thrive by delivering essential speech and language services in Ypsilanti and the surrounding area. Your assignment will run from late August through early June, with full-time hours (37.5 per week). Part-time candidates are welcome to apply—flexibility is available to match your schedule needs.

Desired Background and Requirements:

  • Valid Michigan SLP license (or eligibility upon hire)
  • Open to SLP-CFs eager to jump-start their careers with on-site support
  • Previous experience in school settings or with K-12 caseloads preferred
  • Commitment to delivering services in person; remote options are not available
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptable, organized, and positive approach to daily challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across all grades
  • Collaborate with special education teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and track student progress
  • Counsel and communicate regularly with parents and staff to ensure students’ needs are met
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging therapy environment for all learners
