Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equitable service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, individually or in groups
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development
