Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Current or eligible SLP license in the state
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based services
- Proficiency in evaluating and implementing treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms, if required
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
- Deliver therapy to elementary-aged students in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal mandates
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team planning
- Provide resources and consultation to classroom teachers regarding communication and language strategies
