Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Canton, MI

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Previous experience supporting pediatric clients, particularly in educational or healthcare environments.
• Strong knowledge in areas such as speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic communication disorders.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary and early childhood students.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and set measurable goals tailored to student needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions through group and one-on-one sessions within the school setting.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and student progress.
• Advise and educate families and school personnel on strategies to enhance student communication skills.
• Travel between Bishop Elementary and the Model Early Childhood Center as assigned.
